Our properties are made affordable through efficient and considered design, not by reducing the quality of buildings. We believe housing is only truly affordable when you consider the life of the home, including maintenance costs, energy use and transport costs.
 
Most projects have no eligibility requirements for home buyers, and would make excellent first homes or investment properties. And because we're a Not for Profit, proceeds from sales are returned into our development funding so we can construct more affordable housing.

Shared Equity homes in Upper Coomera - From $214,000 to $277,000  - New!
 
The GCHC is proud to launch its first Shared Equity Scheme. Designed to assist people who may not be able to afford a market-priced property, but whom are seeking to enter the home ownership market. We are selling three homes and one duplex in our estate on Billinghurst Crescent and Days Road, Upper Coomera.
 
A variety of layouts are available including a two bedroom duplex dwelling  priced at $214,000, one two bedroom home for $266,000 and two three bedroom homes available at $277,000. The duplex is currently being built, while construction of the three homes will commence once sold, with the entire project due for completion in October this year.
 
In return for the 25% discount on market priced offered, the GCHC will take a second mortgage for 25% of the property value for up to 9 years. At the end of the period, you must repay the mortgage.
