The GHCC is committed not only to providing affordable rental housing, but also to making home ownership affordable. Our properties are made affordable through efficient and considered design, not by reducing the quality of buildings. We beleive housing is only truely affordable when you consider the life of the home, including maintenance costs, energy use and transport costs.
Most projects have no eligibility requirements for homebuyers, and would make excellent first homes or investment properties. And because we're a Not for Profit, proceeds from sales are returned into our development funding so we can construct more affordable housing.
