NRAS Opportunities
The National Rental Affordability Scheme has presented a unique opportunity for investors to benefit from providing housing at an affordable price. Returns under NRAS can be significantly higher than renting a property at market rent, with the added security of a rental guarantee by the GCHC. Under the Scheme, the GCHC has partnered with two developers to provide NRAS units and houses for sale to investors. The properties will be sold with a head lease to the GCHC (as Horizon outside the Gold Coast), who will sub let the property to eligible NRAS tenants. With us as your tenants, the GCHC is responsible for any tenant damage, cleaning between tenancies, and re-letting. There are no vacancies with the GCHC, who guarantee 52 weeks a year rent (subject to lease conditions, of course). You can just sit back and relax as the rent rolls in.
